Course #1 -  Pistol only - 10 Targets

Shooters had to get a confirmed hit on each silhouette (steel). Once they made it to the last target, they had to run back to the beginning and repeat the course again.

 *None of these courses had cool names. Never had to think of something at that time, the courses were what they were. Never envisioned it would be what it is now...

Shooters had to double tap a small target under a plate rack, then knockdown a circle on the plate rack to simulate a headshot. We would not allow the shooter to move on, until the circle was knocked down. Then they would go back to the double and then circle again until both plate racks were cleared.

Shooters had to double tap the A zone only on a steel target then the threat circle. Then repeat the course of fire again for a total of six confirmed hits.

This course of fire we made our shooters draw from a Safariland Level III Duty Holster and fire one round then holster. We made them do this 10 times and added the time together for an overall time. I believe the trigger was a New York level 1 trigger.

This course of fire we made our shooters knockdown a steel knockdown target with a slug, then transition to birdshot and break a clay pigeon out of the sky. Shooters were added 3 seconds for each miss incurred. (ammo was restricted).

Course #15 - All 3 Guns - "Pre-Final"

This course of fire was a precursor for what we were invisioning what we wanted our 3 gun competition to be all time. We quickly learned it's A LOT of set up, and resetting, and time management. We made them break a pigeon out of the air in this setup, which we removed in the actual Finale.
